National Champion
Several EAC students travelled to Adelaide last week for the National Tae Kwondo Championships. One of our Year 3 students was rewarded for her efforts with one Silver and one Gold Medal.

ICAS Competitions
EAC students have once again performed extremely well in the three ICAS competitions entered in 2008.

Science Competition
6 High Distinctions, 22 Distinctions and 55 Credits

Mathematics Competition
2 High Distinctions, 11 Distinctions and 63 Credits

English Competition
20 Distinctions and 52 Credits

Buddies Fashion Parade
As part of the College Pastoral support programme each Kindergarten student is buddied with a Year 6 student. Each week they get together for a range of activities that help make the school experience more enjoyable. This programme also allows for positive interactions and support in the playground.

At the end of Term 2 buddies assisted in making fashion items from newspaper. The Primary students were then treated to a fashion parade. 






NCSA Rugby Union and Netball 
Teams from Stage 2, Stage 3 and Stage 4 competed against other schools from the NCSA in Rugby Union and Netball.

Visit from Ichimura JHS (Japan)
For the third year in succession, our friends from Ichimura Junior High School in Japan have visited us. In 2009 we hope to take a group of students to Japan as part of our Language programme.
