Emmanuel Anglican College is situated on approximately 6ha of land, in Ballina with 3ha of new playing fields.
Architecturally designed in keeping with the style and climate of northern New South Wales, building commenced on the site in 1999, and there are currently 24 classrooms. In 2002, we opened a new 'state-of-the-art' building with 4 classrooms and retracting walls, providing accommodation for a 350 student assembly. In 2004, a large 2-storey Science and Technology Centre was constructed, allowing us to enhance delivery of these key learning areas.
Current specialist facilities include Science, Food Technology, Art and Wood Technics, Drama and a Music Room. The Music Room opens out onto a purpose built staging area. An all-purpose court has been constructed that accommodates five sports, and a hockey field area forms part of our grounds. Extensive sports ovals form a magnificent vista at the front of the College.
St Mary's Anglican Parish provides the church for use on formal chapel occasions.
With such a large site, the College Council has developed a College Master Plan that provides for our continuing long-term growth.
